How can you lose weight, get fit, and feel better about yourself when you’re over 50?
Getting back in shape is tough at any age, but things happen to one’s body as time goes on (those who’ve heard the click of the physical odometer know what I’m talking about).
The Roadturn message is that it’s not too late. There are no miracle cures here, but if you want to be able to tie your shoes again, play with the kids or grandkids (or great-grandkids), walk without huffing and puffing… if you want to hang on to your health and make your golden years shine… Roadturn Principles and The Roadturn Reboot can help.
I know. They’ve been instrumental in my own turnaround and in the lives of others who’ve found and practiced this health-boosting system.
Right now, I’m in the midst of another personal reboot. This is my logbook for Day 29. To find out more about what’s going on, see Day 1. Then go read up on what The DEEP is all about.
Reboot Logbook Day #29
It was one of those long, long days today. I’ve a doctor (surgeon) friend who is recording a series of short educational videos… and I’m his cameraman. We had a good session. Now for the editing.
Body – 3: It was tough sticking with my diet plan today, but I did it! I’m looking forward to my weekly weigh-in this Sunday. I know it’s going to be good — IF I keep on the path.
Mind – 2: Very little study or thought today. I did listen to some excellent lectures on cancer treatments (during the recording session), but I didn’t take time to study my own craft at all.
Spirit – 2: I began the day with The DEEP, but little prayer and no meditation thereafter.
I’ll take a seven total score and be pleased with it today. I’ve been known to do a whole lot worse, and my tenaciousness in not straying from my diet today was exemplary!
