When you think about it, Christmas really is about you and me.

I know… the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, the reason for the season…

I’m not disputing any part of that, it’s just that–well

it’s that Christians sometimes feel guilty about the whole Santa and his reindeer, shopping spree, gifts under the tree deal.

Ditto, says I.

The fact is that I don’t deserve any presents. My name shouldn’t even be on the list.

Santa is wasting the trip on me.

But, you know what? It’s the same with the other list–the Book of Life. I don’t deserve that either. That’s my part in the Christmas story; Christ Jesus came to seek out the lost and bind up the wounded. That’s me.
