Strong convictions precede great actions.
(Quote attributed to Louisa May Alcott)
Once you believe deeply enough, you’ll act accordingly.
You can go your whole life believing it’s a good idea to get out of the road when a bus is coming, but you won’t jump until you know it’s coming for you.
Don’t wait for the doctor to tell you a change of diet is in order. You knew that a long time ago. Don’t stay away from the gym until you barely have the strength to get yourself out of a chair. Do what you need to do, and do it NOW.
If you can develop ‘strong convictions’ about he necessity for something, you’ll do it. What do you need to be convinced of today?
Roadturn Challenge: Think of something you’ve been wanting to do for a long time, but have yet to succeed at doing. List all the reasons WHY you have the desire. Focus on those reasons, not on the action, until you’ve developed a ‘strong conviction.’ That is when the world will move in your favor.
Roadturn Principle: If you want it badly enough, you’ll find a way.
Let’s talk about it.
