Viral Content Buzz: You try it. You like it.

NORMALLY, I’M SUSPICIOUS of tools and groups and such claiming to add hyperfuel to my social media efforts or gather links for me like plucking eggs out of hen house.  So when I received an email announcing the start-up of a site called “Viral Content Buzz,” I almost tossed it in the spam can.

Until I saw the mail came from a lady who absolutely knows what she’s doing online: Ann Smarty. If ever there was a person worthy of their last name,  it’s Ann.

Nevertheless, being the curmudgeon I am, I was still doubtful this new site would be anything I wanted to be a part of. I had to try it, though. Ann Smarty doesn’t mess with junk.

End result: I’m sold on the idea.

It works like this: You sign up for a free account, then choose the posts others have written that you feel good about recommending to others. You Tweet, Pin or Facebook the article and that puts points in your account. Since we all know “What goes around comes around,” when you have something you would like a little social media love for, you budget out how many of the points you’ve collected to allot to the effort and fill out a simple form on the Viral Content Buzz site. Others read your post and (of course) they like it, so they Tweet, Pin or Facebook it for sharing with others.

And that, my friend, is all there is to it. You don’t believe me? You don’t have to. Watch the video for more information or head on over to Viral Content Buzz for a totally free account and start earning points to cash in the next time you have something you think others will want to know about.

It really is that simple. And…by the way…I’m earning points by writing this post. Ya gotta love it. Ann, you are much appreciated.

  1. Hello Don, thanks for the honest review. BTW the link “Viral Content Buzz,” is not correct – you can put ‘http://’ in front to make it work.
