A lot can happen in one day.
Like driving a curvy road, you never know what’s around the next corner.
The days are long and the years are brief. That’s the way of life.
Let’s make the best of the days we have… every one of them.

Reboot Logbook Day #8
Body – 3: I got away from my desk and on my bicycle at mid-morning, rather than waiting for the end of the day. That’s a smart move. It leaves room for life to happen. Things often come up to keep me away from a walk or ride after the work day has ended. Today, gave me the best of both. I not only enjoyed a half-hour ride through the neighborhood and onto some nearby dirt trails, but took a nice walk in the early evening. Nothing was too strenuous, but I was up and moving. That’s the main thing.
Mind – 3: It’s a low three, but I did exert myself a bit with studies today. Even better, I did a fairly good job of keeping my thinking centered on the work at hand. Tonight, I’ll cash in early and listen to an mp3 teaching by a philosopher I enjoy.
Spirit – 2: I did The DEEP first thing, but little prayer and no meditation today. My spiritual muscles are weak and lazy. Ouch.
I don’t mean to sound negative or down on myself. It was a good day. It was a glorious day, and I’m glad to be alive. God is good. My aim is to press myself on towards my goals… and I believe they are God-given goals.
And here’s a really amazing thing: I can tie my shoe laces without grunting now!
Yes!!!
