We don’t declare a “free day” in The Roadturn Reboot, but there is a day of slack. For me, it’s Saturday.
I don’t abandon my diet plan on my special day, but I don’t worry so much about it, either. It’s a day of relaxation, fun, and gratitude.
Here’s one important caveat, though: my weigh-in day — the day I check my progress — is the next day AFTER my rest day. That helps keep me grounded.
Reboot Logbook Day #24
I got outside today and did some “puttering.” Saturdays go way too quickly!
Body – 3: I followed my diet plan, and enjoyed a good bit of working out, although some would call it “yard work.”
Mind – 3: I did some reading today, and kept my mind centered and not scattered (for the most part). It was a good day.
Spirit – 3: I started with The DEEP, attended a Sabbath service, and talked to the Boss.
Sunday is coming up. I’m looking forward to hitting my week’s target in the morning. That will drop me below one of the ten-pound increment marks.
NOTES
