Three steps forward, two steps back.
For me, that’s more like two forward and three back.
Disappointed at the weekly weigh-in this morning, I went on a fast-food binge.
Checking my weight tonight, I’m back to where I was two weeks ago.
That hurts, but it should come off quickly, assuming I pull out of the nosedive… pronto.
My aim is to knuckle down this coming week and make every day count.
I am NOT giving up, though there are times when my attitude mimics that of Peter De Vries’ father…

Reboot Logbook Day #18
Yes, the day was pretty well a train crash, though I did get some work done.
Body – 0: Poor diet. No exercise. That’s a zip in my book.
Mind – 2: I picked up a case of the poor me’s, but I didn’t let it take me under. I’m still determined to succeed.
Spirit – 1: I began the day with The DEEP, but that’s about it. No prayer and no meditation.
Live and learn. That’s my motto. And I certainly learned from my experience this week. Seven days from now, I’ll be singing a different tune… a victory song.
