Today’s weekly weigh-in delivered a pleasant surprise: weight is down 4.2 lbs for the week, making me just 5.4 lbs away from the mark I aim to hit over the next 24 days. I am way on track for that!
I lost an inch in girth, but my body fat was up a bit. I get that measurement via calipers, so it’s not unusual for it to vary. I try to get the same spot every time, but there’s plenty of room for error.
That good news was exactly what I needed to boost my encouragement for the week ahead. I’m going to double-down this week and work hard to keep watching the fat disappear.

Reboot Logbook Day #11
Body – 2: No real exercise today, other than walking around Lowes looking for cold frame tubing. I kept calories down until my son made Johnny Cakes. That was tough!
Mind – 2: Today was Sunday, so there were plenty of chores to accomplish in the afternoon and no time for reading or study. That’s okay. Tomorrow is coming.
Spirit – 3: I attended Sunday Church today, and it was a powerful time of worship. I come up with excuses why I shouldn’t go just about every time, but I’m always glad when I do. Thank you, Lord!
Things could have gone south in a hurry. I’ve been known to celebrate success with chocolate cake and a milk shake! The Johnny cakes went down with raspberry jam and cream cheese, but I only had a few 🙂
I’m pumped for the week ahead. I will not quit! Not this time.
