One is responsible for one’s own life. Passivity provides no protection. (Madeleine Kunin)
It’s easy to blame others for our failures.
If only my spouse would be more supportive, if only I could get that dream job, if only I felt better… the list goes on and on and on.
Real growth comes when I accept the responsibility for my own life and stop the blame game.
I can get myself out of bed, I can control my diet, I can make sure I get to the gym… it’s up to me.
My life is not anyone else’s responsibility or fault. I make my own bed daily.
That’s not ego speaking; it’s Truth speaking.
If my life is going to change… it’s up to ME.
