Just a little word of thanks here, too. I appreciate the link, and the fact that even at the time, someone outside WU noted the piece.

I suspect it will reappear in the future, now that I’ve moved on to WordPress with a new blog there.

Hi, Don,

Well, well.. I am newly blogging on Wordpress. I just joined Blog Catalog, and was browsing around trying to figure out the system when I discovered MYSELF! and your reference to my Weather Underground piece on Paul Potts.

I laughed and laughed – a few other people had asked me what I was doing on Weather Underground! It’s just where I started, but now we’re moving along. I’m keeping my WU blog because of my readership there, but hope to develop my WordPress blog in the same way.

Thank you so much for the kind comments. Writing the Paul Potts piece was quite an experience. The Houston fireworks extravaganza used Nessun Dorma for their show, and it all came back – although Mr. Pott’s rendition was far more moving.
