“Boat Safe, Boat Smart, Boat Sober” says the Arizona Department of Fish and Wildlife–a good message to hear as we enter the summer vacation and outdoor recreation season. We’ve already seen one fatality from an alcohol-related sporting death, here in our little county, and one is plenty enough.

This information is Arizona specific, but is appropriate to all of us, no matter which state or even which country we are viewing it from. I applaud the Arizona Department of Fish and Wildlife for their excellent and informative site, including the Boating Education Online. And by the way, boating isn’t the only topic they cover.
