Yippee Yi O

Just a few days ago, I was reflecting on what a blessing the internet is to folks like me, who live a distance from urban areas. Given the current price of gasoline, a trip to Lexington (the nearest shopping center) would cost more than that pair of Round House, made in the USA, bib overalls I want. As a matter of fact, the trip would cost more than two pairs of Round House! That hurts.
Thanks to the availability of online stores, though, I can sit here at my desk in the middle of Appalachia and shop like I was living in New York City. Pardon me if I sound like I’m behind the times, but this is still a new enough phenomenon to me to qualify as an exciting experience. I waited for years to buy anything online, because I was fearful of being ripped off or having my credit card information stolen. I also lived in a shopper’s paradise, then, so I really didn’t need to risk it.
It’s a different story now, though. We’re living in the hills and loving the country flavor, but finding the goods we want is difficult. A good pair of boots, for instance, just isn’t available. The whole world is shopping at Walmart, where the price might be agreeable, but the goods often of poor quality. Not only that, but I prefer to buy American goods when I can. I’ve got nothing against China, but I’d like to see a few businesses be able to stay here in the USA.
Don’t let me get off on that trail. I am absolutely ignorant of economics, and I’m the world’s worse money manager. I do know what I like to wear, though, and I have found an online store that has much of it. You’ve probably already heard of them, but I don’t want to assume so. The store is Cavender’s, and as soon as I finish posting this, I’m placing an order.
Whether you are seeking boots, hats, shirts, accessories, or even western home decor; Cavender’s is the place to get it. Free shipping on orders over $50…see you there.
